美國太空人威爾莫爾（Butch Wilmore）和威廉斯（Suni Williams）去年6月乘坐波音「星際客機」（Starliner）前往國際太空站執行8日任務，但因「星際客機」故障令他們滯留在上278日，直至上月18日返回地球為止。兩人周一（31日）表明對波音的「星際客機」有信心，願意再乘坐它上太空，威爾莫爾更說自己也需要為「星際客機」的問題負責任。
